I come in to buy a fresh hot slice of pizza and beverage. I ask it is nice and hot? Because I have been disappointed when it is has been cold on previous visits. No problem you say. Our pizza warmers keep it nice and hot. Okay I say, serve it up. I pay and sit down to enjoy my not fresh pizza. And guess what? Yup, first bite and it is ice fucking cold. Now come on. I dont need the roof of my mouth burnt off but you could keep them warmer with my kid sister’s easy bake oven. —Fuck U

  1. Not fresh and cold? Don’t leave us hanging, did you take the slice back to the counter and get it warmed up? Did you leave the establishment unsatisfied and lighter in the wallet? Were there words and you got smacked in the head with that big wooden spatula? Could that bronzed, curly haired beauty clearing the tables be a romantic interest in this story? Is she carrying your child? I like cold pizza, especially for breakfast.

  2. I yet to find a pizza place around here that doesn’t suck.
Either they fuck up the order, charge crazy fees for extras and delivery, still serve pizza that is hours and hours old to pinch … uh, nickles I guess…. or the customer service is just beyond shitty.
That’s not to say there’s one out there… I just have yet to find them.

  3. Well, kind of hard to feel sorry for you, OB as you already established that this wasn’t your first visit to this place AND that you had been disappointed with the temperature of the za here before. So, the obvious question is, why in blue- hell do you keep going back to this place with the lack-lustre pies if you keep getting disappointed? ESPECIALLY with the plethora of pizza joints in this city?? Jesus. Do you at least know enough to stop chewing when you reach your fingers?? I seriously wonder.

(And BTW, cold pizza for breakfast is the BEST!!)

  4. The best pizza available in HRM (IMHO) is Piatto (corner of Hollis and Morris). A little pricey perhaps but you’re paying for quality. There really is no comparison in HRM. (Salvatore’s and Bramoso are each a very close second).

  5. have not had their pizza, vastie. otherwise it’s always sal’s pie, the rodger is my favourite

  6. Ahhhh, cold pizza, cold Chinese, even cold fish ‘n chips (esp. from Camille’s when still around) were worth the Saturday night hangover on a Sunday morning when some of those ‘goodies’ were still in the fridge for Sunday ‘breaky’ years back. Don’t tend to eat those things often these days, so there are rarely left overs – other than cold pizza once in a while. Still better than hot in some ways.
But like the OP I do not like warm soggy pizza, but would prefer it to be hot when getting it at the pizzeria.

  7. you mean to tell me that you have no sense of feel in your hands? even i can tell if something is warm, hot or even cold in the first 2 seconds of touching it. they also have microwaves in most pizza places you know. peroblem solved.
