Dear students who tried to get on the 1 on Saturday evening on Barrington Street: The bus driver was only doing his job by asking to see the front of the girl’s bus pass, to the young gentleman (and I use the term gentleman loosely) your side comment to your friends about the driver being a “hard ass” got you a warning from him, when you kept asking him if he saw your pass even after he said yes, he had enough and kicked you off! I say good on him, he didn’t need to deal with you and your friends patronizing him for doing his job. I went up to the front and as I was getting off told the driver to keep doing a good job! —Glad You Got What You Deserved

  1. Condescending would be the word I’d go to.

He was right to kick their ass off if they’re going to be snot-nose douchebags.
It’s just a shame the next 1 was likely pretty close behind.
A nice half hour to hour wait would have shut his fucking trap for the next driver…

  2. While some drivers do nothing more than drive, (gee, smile a little) some really do their work and more.
I’ve seen several tell people off, and in the past few years, more people kicked off. If people stopped treating the bus like it’s theirs and more so like it’s the driver’s workspace (as it is) we’d see a lot better behaviour from everyone’s part. There’s so little respect on buses..
