I walk by our beautiful Public Gardens often and notice the lovely smoke-free zone signs located at the various entries. I am a smoker myself and believe that there should be specific smoking zones in all public places, especially ones like our variety of amazing parks in the city. My only complaint is that there should be a butt receptacle handy as I’ve been noticing many park patrons have been butting out on the ground prior to entry. Great plan on the smoke-free zones HRM but at least put a stop to the littering that occurs outside of it. —Ames High

So typical of smokers….just throw their smokes wherever they please.
and that involves common sense, aims high, and believe it or not, there are not too fucking many people using it anymore.
This calls for a Municipal Malfunction Ticket. (does the Coast still do those?)
Good call OB (I’m also a non-smoker)
