  1. Really? No call to police? No complaints to the Bridge Commission? Just post a bitch here?

And what were you doing walking on the bike lane on the bridge?

  2. far as I’m concerned… if it has pedals, it’s in the right spot.
    No pedals, they’re a douchebag.
(while I realize some mopeds DO have removable pedals… just fucking put em on if you’re going in a bike lane… save us all a lot of hassle.)

  3. electric bikes are cool little fucking rigs. was looking at some last week, and might get one for summer fun. guess they can go a fair distance before you have to charge them again. only problem i see, is that emera will make more money, thanks a lot folks.
but yeah, if they had pedals, then they have to use bike lane, but the ones i looked at, had no pedals at all. so buds, the road is the place for you. if not, stay the fuck home, or take a cranky bus ride, like nutso in the news the other day.

  4. LS – you could always buy the David Suzuki model, the one with solar panels on it and the seat cover has a picture of Elizabeth May, so you can have a big can of baked beans and fart face her as you scottelidoo.

  5. They are classified as bikes. So they can be on bike lanes not sidewalks though.

  6. LS…I’ve got a friend who has one of those bike/scooters. He came out here from Dartmouth last year on it, he drove out through Waverly Rd out past Grand Lake to Enfeild & on to where I am out by Dutch Settlement.
His battery was almost dead when he arrived, even so thats a bit over 60 kilometers.
He has since put a better battery in & has a solar panel he bought at Canada Tire, so it can put a trickle of juice back into the battery on sunny days. He mostly uses it to go to & from work & says it’s saved him the monthly Macpass fee.(70.00 a month= 840.00 a year, 2 years you break even) He only takes a bus when the weathers shitty, once roads are clear he’s driving it. Plus he uses it to go for groceries, out & about….it costs very little to recharge. I seem to remember he said it cost him 1500.00 or around that,no license required, no insurance payment ,Sounds like a win win for a city dweller.
Plus Life Sucks, think how cool you’d look toolin’ around on your green machine ~;)

  7. yeah more, they are neat little things. but i still love my big rumbling dodge charger r/t. you can hear my duals a mile away, and that is just above an idle. when the girl barks, all listen. had her out the other day, and purred like a happy kitty. i get about 30 miles/gallon, with headers on, off about 15.
when old girl passes you, you know you’ve been passsed. she is going back in storage end of june or july. might bring out the 70 for awhile tho. the big blue beast is a little quieter, due to factory pipes and all that shit. just took it to safety check other day, boys at dodge dealers were salivating all over it.
can’t buy them like that, anymore. hate driving in halisux tho, too many assholes out there. and if one of them got a ding, i would probly kill moron that did it. these babies are in 100 % origional condition. nothing has ever been added, not even tires. just the gas, safety, and license tags. 69 is blood red, 70 is powder blue, both have snow white interiors in them, and both 4 speeds.
