Why is it ok for a utility to inform my neighbours how much power I use? How is this helpful to anyone? Unless we all live in duplicate houses, with exactly the same appliances, I fail to see how this is helpful. Maybe next year, Revenue Canada can publish our neighbours salaries, how much we donated to charity, etc… This is private information, not public domain. This is wrong, wrong, wrong, and an infringement on my right to fucking PRIVACY!!! —None Of Your Fucking Business

  1. You actually believe that scam? I wonder how many people got “statements” showing they used less (paid) than their neighbours?

  2. I heard something about this, but don’t fully understand the whole thing. NSP better not be divulging any of my private information, to anyone but me.

  3. Calm the fuck down. It’s not just your usage that is displayed. It is an average of one hundred homes which are comparable in size and style of heating. Nowhere will it have your address, place of work, eye colour or prescription drugs to alleviate paranoia you’re obviously not taking enough of.

  4. I like how they offer you energy saving tips and $1200 off solar water heaters, pity they don’t offer you an opt out of Dexters MustHave fucking falls.
