I recently lost a set of keys and went to many stores to try and locate them. When I would ask to see what keys they have found there were many of them that had war amps tags on them that have been sitting at the store for months even years. If you work at a store and keys are left there please throw them in the mailbox as they will be returned to the owner. I was surprised that many of the people working at these stores didn’t even realize that. Losing keys is a terrible feeling and if they can be returned by war amps that is a great service. The war amps tags don’t have addresses on them. They have a number that gets matched up when they get sent to the war amps (that’s where it goes when you drop it in the mail box). The war amps send it back to the person’s address.

come on now o.p., you can’t expect smart when people work at retail stores. most don’t know fuck about the shit they are even selling. i kid you not. i worked retail for a few years, and most of the staff, only knew what they were selling, shirts and shit. no one even told them about the different colors, sizes, or even company that made them.
i got so fed up, i went to management, to ask why no one there, had any idea what they sold, other than the price tag on them. she said what do you expect from students. that floored me right away, and i asked what she meant. she stated that most didn’t give a shit about who made what, shrinkage, or anything else, just a paycheck. looking back and at present, i can see that she was right.
