I do not have a barcode and a label “made in Japan” stamped on the back of my neck. Therefore I am not a robot that is programmed to do non-stop repetitive tasks for 9 hours a day, and to do them perfectly.
I am going to screw up. I am a human being. I’m not perfect. I’m not Jesus Christ and therefore I don’t make miracles. AND, you can’t expect me to be perfectly functional especially when I’m half asleep all day due to the fact that I have to get up every day at 5:30 in the morning just to show up on time and then you sucker me into doing 5 extra hours which jackes it to 13 hrs. Then all of a sudden put me on a fucking backshift so I’m living on 4 hours sleep! That’s impossible and you can’t treat your workers like this! Not to mention its not like the job I do involves open-heart surgery or saving the world, I make fucking sandwiches! But still, I can not function properly by doing a morning shift then a backshift! It’s humanly impossible!
I can’t wait to go in tonight and tell you I fucking quit and take your min. wage job and shove it right up your big fucking ass you idiot!
And guess what, so is three others who are sick of your shit, and what are you going to do then? You will be stuck. And how will if feel then when you realize you have no workers until another person works there? (Whom I would feel so sorry for.) Wonder why you cant keep employees dumbass? You will learn you can’t treat your workers like this!

You just described life at a grocery store chain. Which is why my ass quit.
It never ceases to amaze me how some employees will try to squeeze every penny out of minimum wage employees. All that creates is a high turn over of employees which is not a good reflection on a business. Minimum wage should be jacked up to at least 10 bucks an hour and maybe such employers would treat their people with more respect. Then again…
