To the lazy fucker that couldn’t be bothered to clean the ice and snow off of your car…as I was driving up the magazine hill Friday evening the massive sheet of ice on your roof that you couldn’t be bothered to clean off came off on it’s own, right on top of the hood of my car. Now I have over a thousand dollars of damage to my car due to the fact that you couldn’t take 2 minutes out of your busy day to clean off your car…that’s a thousand dollars I don’t have. Thanks for making my weekend fucker…

That sucks. I hope you got the plate number and all that.
Fuckers like that should have their genitals blow torched.
I feel for ya, OP. My parents had two accidents of that nature and had to put claims in under comprehensive and now their insurance is ridiculously expensive.
Hope you don’t have to go through all that 🙁
If anyone happened to see this please leave a comment, I was traveling towards Bedford on the magazine, the lazy fucker was going the opposite way, it was around 5:15 p.m. on Friday (the 6th)…I’m hoping someone out there might have got a plate number.
Raging Bull: you should try calling into Andrew Crystal’s morning show on News 95.7 and tell him what happened. He’ll probably put you on the air and I bet you’ll have better odds of finding the cocksucker on the radio than on here. Very few people even know LTWWB even exists. Good luck and I hope you find out who this asshole is. Hopefully they’ll take his license away permanently. People who don’t clean their car off deserve to die in a horrible, fiery single vehicle crash. Your story is a prime example of why. The HRP and RCMP need to start ticketing every mother fucker that doesn’t clear the ice and snow off their car.
That totally sucks, having that amount of damage done to your car would piss anyone off.
The sad part is maybe it was not possible for that person to clear off the snow/ice from his car. If you park outside this winter it is next to impossible to clean off the inches thick sheets of ice that form on your roof and hood as the snow then freezing rain falls over night. I try my hardest to get as much off as I can but sometimes you cannot remove it. But drivers need to be aware of it and check to see if it can be removed each time they get in and drive.
You should not be held responsible for paying to fix something that was completely someone else’s fault.
Very few people even know LTWWB even exists.
Hey now! I get hate mail about it, even.
Tim: on the grand scale of things here in HRM, more people are aware of Andrew Crytals show on 95.7 than are aware of LTWWB in The Coast. I’m sure raging bull will have better luck on the radio than on here.
Hate the cold: like it or not, it’s the law. Doesn’t matter how long it takes you to get the ice and snow off your car, it’s illegal to drive without removing it. It is always possible to remove it. After the god aweful snow and freezing rain we had last week, I was able to get the inch thick sheet of ice off the roof of my car, why can’t everyone else? They might have a handicap you say? Well then, if they can’t obey the rules of the road (cleaning the ice and snow off being one of them) then they shouldn’t be driving.
It’s not just cars either…
I’ve had an 18 wheeler ‘forget’ to do a safety check and while driving on the highway the ice came off the top backwards and punched through the windshield on my rent-a-car. took 2 hours to get the glass out of my hand and I had a big welt on my neck from where a shard hit me and landed in the back seat.
Defensive driving saves lives everyone… nobody likes road pizza.
dude, all I can say is I’m sorry…DAMN.
