I don’t know what people are thinking or what possible music they could be listening to while they walk as if they are in a state of euphoric and transleucent semi-comatosis, but MOVE FASTER you dumb fucks! Especially if there are 2+ people on the sidewalk and you can hear me shuffle my feet behind you trying to get around!!
Also, to a certain girl’s clothing shop which has its boy counterpart on the same street: every time I go in there, I see/experience the WORST fucking customer service. Don’t stand behind the counter chatting about shit that obviously has nothing to do with the retail, merchandise, or the “lifestyle” you promote when people walk in the store! This has happened too many times that I’ve begun to order that shit online without the prices that you jack up in your store. Not to mention that most of the employees seem like snooty and pretentious bitches – that is when they say something to you.

amen. the world isn’t a fucking music video.
You could also try saying/barking “Excuse me.” It seems rude, I know, especially because you have to usually yell because the walker in question is blaring Evanescence or whatever, but it’s less rude than just shoving past someone.
I usually get past them and then slow down so I get rip one off right in their path…I just love the facial expressions when it rolls past them!
Its not anyone else’s job to notice a passive aggressive attempt to be passed on the side walk.
I’m usually a rather fast walker, but occasionally, I want to walk slowly. If so, I try to keep it to one side of the sidewalk. Feeel freeeee to increase your walking speed a little to get around. I’ve noticed people directly behind me, walking close up trying to get me to move faster. LISTEN. That is gross and weird. If you are in fast-walk mode, take a short cut on a road, walk up beside a person and past, jog around quick on a snowbank… Get around! It’s really not that hard.
only you can prevent forest fires. Only you can get yourself where you want to be when you want to be there. Take some initiative or put some thought into it.
(also if someone has headphones on… they usually can’t hear someone shuffling their feet, that is probably the main issue with your approach)
