I was stuck on the hill at the intersection of Old Sambro and Herring Cove Rd last week on a patch of ice in the left turning lane (I have winter tires). I had my four ways on for what seemed like an eternity. People were driving by for a while while I sat there panicking. Thank you to the man who got out of his car last week and directed traffic away (also instructing me how to get over the ice lol) so I could back up the hill again and get over the ice patch.
