Thanks to the HRM employee who stopped his big yellow truck (with flashing lights) on Barrington street this weekend to block a lane of traffic and allow 5 minutes of security so I could get my car boosted. It was obviously not part of his job, but he stopped and helped anyway—a great example of community service, not to mention good timing. No thanks to the couple of impatient jackasses who drove around the truck and nearly caused an accident. Where’s the fire? —Out of juice, but in luck

it’s nice hear some love for HRM employees! I forget there is a bunch of good ones when I can see a beach parking lot in Dartmouth where I watch trucks hide for hours at a time…. on my nickel. Thanks for reminding me not to tar ’em all with the same brush
