If you own two beautiful dogs and near the NSLC on Agricola, please keep an eye on them! My friend and I saved their lives when your front door was left wide open one evening last week and they ran out into rush-hour traffic. We coaxed them back inside, yelled loudly into the dwelling that your dogs were loose, and when no one answered we just closed the door tightly and left. Just so you know, we came very close to watching them get smeared all over the pavement. Maybe they let themselves out? —Homeward Found

If they were good doggies, they would have gone to Doggy Heaven. Doggy Hell is for the bad dogs, and Purgatory is for the doggies who are neither good nor bad.
Nothing makes me angrier than irresponsible dog owners. I will hope that it was a mere accident and whoever left the house last just didn’t pull the door quite hard enough.
Irresponsible animal owners in general. I have been sickened time and time again with things I have seen in the way people “care” for their animals. Coming from a home that was extremely pet-friendly I have been taught throughout my life on the importance of loving your pets. And the unfortunate thing is, anyone can have one….. kind of like how anyone can have kids. In some cases the animal would be better off scrounging on the streets or becoming feral than living under the ownership of the fucktards that have them.
OP- if the dogs are as beautiful as you say they are (and if they seemed well taken care of……) I can only hope that it was an innocent mistake someone made in letting them out, and that they never find out that their animals almost perished were it not for your amazing consideration and smart thinking. Here, here for the OP.

People in that area can afford dogs? Whoa surprises me. I thought only the drunks, druggies, and welfare people lived there.
What does it take to afford a dog Seb??? Technically, irresponsible dog owners can have a dog without paying a cent. Make sure they get outside to piss and shit, and feed them the scraps from your meals. That’s the whole problem…..
my front door has a messed up latch, i was unaware until i came home to my dog, thankfully safe, on my front lawn.
maybe instead of putting it on here so strangers can tell you what a good person you are, you could actually be a good person and let the homeowners know
