To the dummy who dented my green hyundai in the Sobey’s parking lot on Wise Road between 3 and 4 pm new year’s eve..
I’d be angrier if you hadn’t been stupid enough to cut and run in front of a goddamned outdoor security camera.
I’m giving you one week from the day this is posted to come forward and exchange insurance information. Failing that, the NSLC and I will be happy to get the cops involved.
Either way, you pay. All you have to do is decide if you want to deal with the police on top of that. —Clock’s ticking.

Bad idea OB. cutting a motorist some slack generally never ends well for the driver who’s car gets hit.
in a week’s time, will your insurance company accept a report? are you certain the police will allow you to file a report? Also, the NSLC doesn’t care as much as you do, they might lose the footage if you wait too long. And, what is the idea of giving him a week? ie that almost sounds like you have already forgiven him/her of the crime, and you are naively extending credit terms if you know what I mean.
Unless you’ve already contacted NSLC, waiting can cause you to lose the video. Depending on the place and type of recording equipment and storage policies, they can be gone in a matter of 24 hrs, a week or a month. Some advice about evidence, collect it as soon as practical after an incident, not change its shape, or clean it or anything else.
I just wanted to explain my comment about terms of credit. I once heard that writing an NSF cheque is fraud and that the store should call the police. Instead, they call you up and ask “when can you come in to clear up your cheque? Tuesday? Ok, see you then” Once they do that, now they have extended you terms of credit, if you don’t pay up, it is no longer fraud. Telling a hit and run person that they have until the end of the week, is probably a bad idea.
Take the following sage advice:
Never Give a Sucker an Even Break is a 1941 Universal Pictures comedy film starring W.C. Fields. Fields also wrote the original story, under the pseudonym “
Or how about this sage advice:
“Dirty Dee, you’re a baddy daddy lamatai tebby chai!”

OP, I suggest you learn you street names before you file the Police Report as well contacting your insurance company. Wise Rd doesn’t exist. Wyse Rd does!
ooooh snap!
He could just be bluffing as the security footage likely was of too poor quality to discern any recognizable number on the plate.
Follow ups appreciated.
Clocksucker assumes way too much ….. thinking the perp actually reads the bitch column in The Coast.
