To the driver of the silver car clearly intent on nothing else but getting to the rotary from Connaught Avenue last week: It is my understanding that when there are three lanes (one for left turns, one for going straight, and one that gives the option to go straight or turn right), and the left turning lane is blocked by construction or something, then you can turn left carefully from the straight lane. You cannot, however, as I understand it, turn left from the right turning lane, cut off all the cars in front of you, and almost cause many people to lose their lives. —Just Trying to Make it Past the Intersection Alive

Almost, being the operative word…
As boring as it is at times to see frequent posts on the same topic (bad driving, road construction ,etc, etc.), I find this board a good antidote to a certain other social media site which is rife with false sentimentality and insincere praise.
Keep on bitchin’!

The confusion is your mention of ”rotary” which implies one set of driving standards when in fact it is a ”roundabout” and the rules changed but the mindset has not.
Except that the rotary really has not thing to do with it. Just saying that the driver was going towards the rotary (okay, roundabout if you prefer). The incident happened five minutes away from the Armdale Roundabout/Rotary.
To the unclassy illiterate who cannot read the words Student Driver, who tailgated a student driver and then passes and middle fingers the 16 year old nervous driver…you are going to get what is coming to you. Eventually. Hahahah
