I’m pretty bummed. Just to be the nicest mom ever, last week my awesome mother got me a Coach scarf. It was white with all kinds of colourful stripes and I loved it.

Monday night I went to the movies and I accidentally left it in the theatre, and when I went back it was gone. The theatre people checked the lost and found and it wasn’t there. If you see that someone left something in the theatre, why wouldn’t you turn it in? To just take it is super shitty. And it says Coach on it, obviously it was worth something to someone. Nice. —Bummed out

  1. Things that are super important aren’t generally left behind in movie theatres. You know, like kids. But material objects are different.

I hate when that happans! It was stealing, really. I hope one of their friends is suspicious of their newfound scarf.. and possibly other things they snatch away when they get the chance.

    Fuck you, stealers!

  2. It’s shitty someone took it, but, really, you’re surprised?

If someone bought me something from the coach store i sure as hell wouldn’t be leaving it by accident anywhere.

Shouldn’t’ve been so careless. You obviously should stick to the cheap stuff if that’s how you treat expensive goods.

  3. My little cousin used to work for a movie theater and was told if no one claimed an item after a week they could keep it.

She never really said but I got the hint that they shuffle stuff around or deny it was there if someone called and just distributed the goods to the staff.

Don’t assume it was a patron who took it, maybe they turned it in to a minimum wage earning fashionista with a taste for the finer things in life.

I tend not to trust anyone though. At the movies my jacket and purse are attached to each other and looped over my knee. That’s the easiest way for me to make sure nothing gets left behind
