Me and some friends were at a popular downtown club. Two bouncers decided to rough up my 130 pound friend for wearing a hood. This bitch is not really directed towards the bouncers, their behaviour is to be expected seeing as they are dickless little cowards who think they’re tough because they can toss around drunk people half their size. This bitch is directed to two people.
First, to the lady cop who tackled my friend and broke his foot. WTF were you thinking? OK, fine, I get it, you have a job to do and difficult split-second decisions to make and you aren’t perfect, however as I was leaving the bouncer looked right in my eyes and said he was going to “fucking kill me.” As you should know, uttering death threats is a serious offense. I came and told you that I had just had my life threatened, you told me to deal with it tomorrow when I was sober. I told you that I was 100 percent sober which was the truth, I offered to take a breathalyzer. Then you told me to deal with it tomorrow when I had calmed down. I would have more respect for you if you had at least had the guts to tell me the obvious truth, which is that you don’t give a rat’s ass if a bouncer breaks the law. I would bet that if I had threatened the bouncer I’d have been charged. Do you think I’m not aware that the next day it would all have been hearsay? How about doing your job? You then brushed me off and said “I’m dealing with this right now,” referring to my friend who you had injured. What exactly are you dealing with?! You’re a cop! Not a paramedic, what the bloody hell were you “dealing with” exactly? Getting the description of the person who broke my friend’s foot? Here’s a hint, IT WAS YOU!
The other person I want to send a big middle finger to is the guy at the ER. So sorry for inconveniencing you. It seemed to me like you really thought our needing your help was ruining your night. My friend was in a crazy amount of pain, his foot was broken in three places, and you kept yelling at him to calm down and that there was no need to shout. The taxpayers pay you good money to deal with people who are in need of emergency services, if my friend wants to raise his voice because he’s in pain he has every right to, and it’s your job to deal with him as politely and efficiently as possible.
I hope everyone who has ever asked me “why didn’t you tell the police?” will read this and understand a bit better that the police plain don’t give a fuck, and going to them when you need something is a waste of time. They never take you seriously. —I Want My Tax Dollars Back

I am confused as to how the foot got broken, and broken in 3 places?
Maybe you and your friends should try to be more responsible when you’re drinking…
So glad I’m not involved in the “downtown” club scene. Never was my cup of tea.
Sounds like a typical night at the Palace.
Wow, you and your friends sound so mature for 18.
Tommy?
Yes?
I think there’s more to this story…years ago my university man friend got jumped by bouncers for wearing a chain outside his shirt (small, plain silver chain, apparently it was a gang symbol. He tucked it in, we got in the bar, it was fine, then we got hauled back out and the ex got sucker punched. I was sober and will be the first to admit when myself or others I’m with are being asses.). When it started there were 4 of us there, but shortly after it started a pile of big guys (it was a pubcrawl from Acadia with a large percentage of football guys) came out of nowhere to back their buddy and mayhem ensued. My guy hadn’t been in the wrong, but 95% of the rest of the guys that jumped in totally were. In spite of that, not only were the responding officers helpful, but hounded us for weeks to press charges because they’d had so many complaints about bouncers.
Strikes me as odd that you two had so much trouble.
Also, dude, yeah they’re going to try and calm you down in the ER. It’s their job. The more agitated someone is, the worse they’re going to feel, and the more likelihood of them doing more harm to themselves.
If this is your bitch, Tommy…. uh didn’t this happen months ago?
Why bitch about it now?
and we are sposed to believe you, right, try again. most bouncers i know, usually don’t get anywhere as physical as you say. and the cops either. i’m not sticking up for either group, but something sounds a tad off here.
so, how much booze did you all imbibe, and how mouthy were you or they, that got their asses whoopped. see, i find it really hard to believe a one sided bitch. if the cops that were there read this, please respond, same goes for the bouncers. then we will decide who said and did what to get what happened.
Also, you seem to have conveniently left out the part where the bouncer asked your friend to put his hood down which he complied with for all of about 5 seconds because he “has a bit of an attitude problem”.
You’re a cheater PK!! But I’ve been meaning to write this bitch for a while, just only got around to it a couple days ago. Looks like it’s been heavily edited. There was a last line:
“I look forward to reading your sarcastic and judgmental comments”
Why’d you leave that out bird?
Might wanna wipe the splooge outta your eyes, Meaty.
“I told you that I was 100 percent sober which was the truth”
Times haven’t changed, back when we had the big mardi-gras street parties my girlfriend and I stayed sober left the scene *really* early to ‘be safe’. We ended up getting swarmed while walking past citadel hill.
The ER “doctor” who was stuck working that night shrugged his shoulders and told me that’s what I get for ‘partying’. Fucking asshole.
Tommy-you paid cash money for this experience?
I haven’t heard many good things about the Halifax club scene. Next time you hit the clubs, wear a hidden ‘Tommy cam’
The bitch isn’t directed at the bouncers, Tron, so that’s irrelevant, even so, there was no need for them to put their hands on him, he was not violent or aggressive, he is also a tiny guy. Definitely no need for two 200 lb guys to start tossing him around. We were on our way out of there anyways. My other friend was the one who got his foot broken, he was just following the 3 of them out the door and was assaulted by the cop. Had he just been asked to leave the whole incident would have been avoided.
Yeah this whole thing is subjective. I’m calling exaggerated bullshit on most of this story.
The po-po part I believe though because the police in this city assume everyone out after 11:00 pm is drunk, drinking, or on PCP.
“I look forward to reading your sarcastic and judgmental comments”
ur mother is a whore and I fucked her.
Actually…. that’s just straight up mean. I apologize.
You’re mother is an amazing woman and I recently took her out to a moderately priced restaurant where we shared a lovely meal and a few glasses of wine. Afterwards, I took her back to my apartment and made sweet sweet love to her under the glimmering moonlight that flooded through my window. We had a romantic bath when we finished and then held each other closely until she fell asleep in my arms.
Tommy! It’s been MONTHS since this happened. Ya gotta move on bubbs!
Also: Zilla — you had me at ‘whore’ and ‘fucked.’
I think it’s entirely relevant. If your friend didn’t have such a shitty attitude, he never would’ve gotten kicked out, his foot wouldn’t have been broken, he could’ve kept on drinking, and you never would have had to write this bitch.
I just don’t take kindly to having my life threatened, PK. It’s this thing I have. That and people who are paid tax dollars to help the public and don’t seem to be interested in doing so. But I have moved on, I just wanted to tell the story.
He didn’t get his foot broken. My other friend did. And that’s not what I’m bitching about, it’s not even the fact that the injury happened. It happened, sometimes these things happen. What really pissed me off was the indifference of the cop and the ER worker. They did not do their jobs as far as I’m concerned.
Just don’t go downtown after dark. It’s that simple.
The lesson we can take away from this is: When someone asks you to remove your hood; it’s probably a good idea to do so.
http://www.wreckthetapedeck.com/wp-content…
apparently quinpool in broad daylight, isn’t too safe either
Exactly, Ivan. And if you had moved on, tommy, you wouldn’t’ve written this bitch.
The staff in the ER were fabulous when both my parents were in there these past months. Was your friend who got his foot broken drinking? How does your life being threatened factor in when you said it isnt a bitch about the bouncers?
I dunno, after witnessing the crap I did during my short time in the ER with my parents (13 and 18 hours each), i saw some fucked up people on drugs or drunk making a lot of disruption — i can only imagine what the ER workers see on typical graveyard shifts and i can imagine the amount of bar fight participants gone wrong is of plenty.
Your friend is a douche for not taking his fucking hood off and you should be bitching at him if you’re going to bitch at anyone.
i dunno, i thought it was bitchworthy and since i’m not on facebook it’s the first i’ve heard. i’ve seen some bad behaviour from er workers and law enforcement, it’s best to just do what you’re told to do. i would take great exception if someone told me they were going to kill me but there isn’t much you can do, unless you want to be beaten
sigh.. whatever PK, I’ll just run all my future bitches past you first cuz I care about your approval sooooo badly :P:P:P
Your friend sounds like a douche. Who would wear a hoodie to a bar anyway? I mean, it is a free country and people can wear what they want, but wearing a hoodie out to a club or some other drinking establishment is one way to be stereotyped as a thug, and treated as such.
If someone uttered a death threat you should have done your civic duty and tried to press charges the next day. Maybe there were witnesses that you could have gathered? At the very least snap a shot of the guy so you can identify them later, assuming you have a smart phone or whatever. Bitching about it weeks after the fact is way more rational.
It’s hard to empathize with people who hang around with shady people or in seedy areas and then get all indignant when shit hits the fan.
So why didn’t you call the police? Just kidding.
How the hell did the cop break your friend’s foot in a tackle? Nothing to do with the point of the bitch I realize but just curious. See, that’s why I love being a conformist. I would have pulled my hoodie down and avoided being chucked around by bouncers and avoided sitting with my buddy in the ER. Half kidding.
You must ask yourself Thomas. “Do I have a problem with authority?” Not kidding at all.
if someone broke your foot for no reason, why the fuck wouldn’t you go to the cops. I call bullshit. There’s definitely more to this story. And yeah the cops do DO shit, people are arrested all the time for assault – by cops. You do sound like you got an attitude problem
I’d like to think that being rude to someone doesn’t allow them to get violent with me. They should be allowed to escort you out if they don’t like your behavior but if you’re not trying to fight them, they shouldn’t be allowed to fight you. I’ve only been asked to leave a club once, and I just left. If I was a guy, they probably would have just yanked me and thrown me out.
remind me never to party with Tommy…
I’m surprised you haven’t been arrested at a summit yet.
Dude, you have either the worst luck in the world when it comes to violence/authority…
or the world is out to get you.
Either way, as mommy dearest would say, ‘that boy’s trouble’.
Why did you get bounced Mel? I bet they couldn’t handle your level of ass shaking.
“I mean, it is a free country and people can wear what they want”
In public that is true, but bars/clubs are private establishments. They can deny you entrance or kick you out for any reason they want including dress code violations. That’s why its pointless to argue with a bouncer.
Didn’t the bouncer ask said friend to take off his hood and the friend took it off and then put it back on (presumably to be a dick)?
And iirc, the way Tommy told me the story, the friend with the broken foot got behind the cop and she stepped on it or something. Either way, getting behind a cop during a confrontation could be seen as a threat. Was the friend with the broken foot drunk? Y’all should’ve just stayed out of the entire mess. Your friend was being a douche — it’s not that hard to take a fucking hood off and keep it off, whether you’re 130 pounds, or 330 pounds. If I was a bouncer that night I would’ve thrown his bitch ass out too and I’ve got at least 50 pounds on the little fucker. And all that cop knew was that someone was causing a disturbance and his friends were getting involved. The aim of the game here is to secure the public safety, and for all the bouncers/cop knew, you guys could’ve been violent/carrying weapons/etc….
I understand you’re pissed off at this, Thomas, but if your friend with the hood didn’t act like a douche and just took his damn hood off, I can guarantee none of this would have happened and you would’ve been free to have a great evening with your friends.
I luvs ya, but I’ve never claimed to be a friend who wasn’t going to tell you the straight shit, and after two months, why even bother writing a bitch about it? Just get over it and move on. The world isn’t fair and shit happens, yadda yadda.
Wear what you like at this upcoming event: I’m proposing we have a 5 star piss up the night the election results are announced for new Mayor and Revised Council – we can have a bonfire and burn an effigy of the Bedford Bungholer, or the real thing if desired. You can call yourself by your Indian name “Big Chief Broken Foot”, translation; you’ve either got a fractured/broken foot or your dick length has exceeded the 12 inch barrier, personally I’d have to take out a loan at the cock bank. Venue suggestions?
wouldn’t ‘the dingle’ be appropriate?
I don’t recall the incident at all Zilla 😛 But I believe it was because I was making everyone else dancing look bad 😉 Or it could have possibly been because I was falling over or something, that often happens when I’m sober anyway though. I’m just too damn clumsy. I just didn’t argue, I left and then made out with my date outside :).
As long as you weren’t giving the speakers a lap dance, Mel… OH WAIT 😛
<3
I dated a bouncer once and I can garuntee that most of them are dickless because most of them are on steroroids 🙂
Nothing to with anything just wanteed to put that out there!
I would never do such a thing PK!
Amy…
well your opinion is negated by the fact that I can guarantee MOST people named Amy have an IQ nearing that of a dung beetle.
I hope you see what I did there but I’m guessing probably not.
I don’t know where these fucking stupid, idiot, retard, tossed salad with a douche vinagrette’s think this fairy land of steroids exists… but they aren’t common, and some people are genetic mesomorphs with an affinity for meat.
I’m serious.
I take SERIOUS offense when I see people spend twice as long in the gym…
sacrificing a lot of tasty food…
busting their ass day in and day out the healthiest way possible…
only to have people assume that ‘oh hey, I don’t have that kind of willpower so no-one else must…. they must be cheating’ .
people like you make me vomit… and not like the bulimic way people like YOU try to appear healthy…
bitch
Lies, Mel. Damn lies. 😛
Mel….If you ever decide to do what PK said then feel free to email me with the location and time. I’m still waiting for Xeno to email me the date and time when she is going to walk around topless. Bitches be teasing on this website…..
So a dress code violation is cause for two people man handling you? I think you’d be singing a different tune if it happened to you. Also their job training dictates that they not resort to violence before asking someone to leave. My friend even said to him that he would leave. There was no standoffish behavior, no insults. But again, that’s not the point. Yes, my friend was stupid for doing that, I tried to tell him not to. The whole incident was stupid and the hood was the cause of it. I acknowledge that, but it’s what happened afterwards that is the focus of the bitch. Read it again, I didn’t really rag on the bouncers or the cop for breaking my friend’s foot, it was what happened afterwards that I found unacceptable.
The point is when I was threatened I did the responsible thing by reporting it to police and they did nothing. You can say that the bouncer was justified in throwing my friend out but there’s no excuse for threatening someone like that. All I did was give him a dirty look.
Trying to file charges the next day would have been a huge waste of time, something needed to be done right then and there or it was just going to be his word against mine. If the cop would have done her job she would have at least asked if anyone else heard him threaten me and been able to make a decision as to whether or not charges could be filed. Why would I take the time to call them after the fact when I told them right when it happened and they didn’t do anything? She could have at least referred me to another officer or called one in. I wouldn’t have probably gone through with filing charges but I wanted to at least make it known to that guy that I wasn’t just going to tolerate having my life threatened, so at least maybe he’d think twice before doing it again. It would have been nice to know that the people who are paid to be responsible for my safety could have my back. I guess next time I’ll just have to look out for my own self. I know that if I had threatened to kill someone I would have likely been beaten up and arrested. For her to say she was busy dealing with my friend is just insult to injury, especially after using two cop outs.
I don’t have a problem with authority, I have a problem with people in a position of authority who pick and choose who they want to help, when they’re paid good money to help everyone. She can assault and injure my friend just for standing near his friend to make sure that two guys twice his size weren’t going to kill him, but she doesn’t care if someone gets in my face and threatens to kill me. He could have probably beat me up and she wouldn’t have cared. I had nothing to do with the incident, I didn’t step in, I didn’t raise my hands or even my voice at anyone, I went and got my other 2 friends and gave the bouncer a dirty look on my way out of there, that’s when he threatened me.
Then I took my friend to emergency and they treated him like he was a big pain in their ass. He was not rude to them whatsoever, he was answering the guy’s questions and he was speaking just like I’m sure any of you would if you were in extreme pain. The guy took more time than necessary because he kept getting his shorts in a knot and yelling at my friend instead of just moving on to the next question. If he had said “sir I understand you’re in a lot of pain, please try and be calm and we’ll get through this quickly” I’d have no problem with that, but he treated him like an inconvenience and was very rude about it. Unacceptable.
As anyone who knows me knows, one big pet peeve of mine is when people who are paid public money to do the best job they can do and they provide no service, or poor service, and another is when people defend their shitty service because their job is tough. Everyone’s job is tough, but if private sector workers were as indifferent or downright rude to our customers as many public sector workers are, we’d be out of a job, and we are paid less on average and don’t have as many perks. That’s just ass backwards to me. Why are these people exempt from criticism? Someone has a shitty experience at McDonalds and bitches about it, I’ve yet to see anyone rush to the defense of a minimum wage worker but god forbid you trash a cop or ER worker because boo hoo they have a tough job to do. If they can’t handle a guy with a broken foot they should be looking for other employment options. They are paid well. I hope I never get stabbed or shot in this city.
Why can’t I write a bitch about something that happened like 8 weeks ago? I’ve been busy. I was thinking about it and in front of a computer and decided to tell the story. If that doesn’t jive with someone they can feel free to not read it. Next time I’ll be sure to run to my computer the minute something happens so as not to get past this apparent bitch expiration date.
Gawd..
It’s not about an ‘expiration date’ on bitches, it’s the fact that holding onto anger over situations that have long since past hurt no one but yourself. I’ve learned this. I used to stew and stew over things forever after something shitty happened. All I’m saying, Tom is that if you let go you’d feel a lot better. The cop, bouncers and ER worker you encountered don’t give two shits over the fact that you’re pissed off, so why hold onto that?
You’re really hurting no one but yourself. Learn to let go of things you can’t control. You’ll feel a lot better. Trust me.
screw that tommy…
hang onto that hatred… that wronging… that’s fire that refuses to extinguish.
Feel the anger crawling… seething… wrestchedly twisting through your veins…
the bullshit that was needlessly targeted… specifically at you.
imagine the grisly scene, were you stricken by primal hatred, and would have abolished their existence if you so could have…
feel it tommy… the indestructible nature of pure… unadulterated RAGE.
that’s how I feel a lot of the time..
so I sympathize.
http://memecrunch.com/meme/3D77/weird-cat/…
lol thank you Zed. But really I just had nothing better to do so I decided to tell the board about the incident. It’s not like I really am sitting around stewing about it. I just like writing bitches and felt like the ones lately have been rather soft.
