Hey now, we’re not ALL pretentious. It also depends on which coffee shop you go to or work at. I’ve worked at two separate ones, and lemme tell ya, the atmospheres are very different between the two.
I believe I know which bitch this coffee shop is directed to, and if I’m right, then it’s where I’m employed. 🙁 If so, I apologize on behalf of the staff. There’s a particular employee here who likes to turn the volume up so he can hear the music better… I am actually here right now and informed him off this bitch. Heh. I went out back and turned it down. A lot more quiet now, it is.
Sorry about the shitty experience if it IS my coffee shop. Swear to God, we don’t always do it. And, never hesitate to request that it be turned down. A lot of people come in here to study or chat, and it’s kinda hard to do either when the music overpowers everything.
