I just want to say that I think everyone is being WAY too negative about the CUPW strike. Have you all forgotten that it was the CUPW that picketed for 42 days in 1981 for paid maternity leave and won? Which in turn is why mothers get one year paid maternity leave now? I think you need to check yourself and realize that they deserve to fight for whatever reason. You never know what can come from it.
