To the git with the round lenses who decided to cross against a flashing hand on Spring Garden about 5:30pm, last Friday: You have no business being in charge of two young children. You stopped for a second when the hand started to flash and when I tried to turn right on my green, you leapt off the curb, endangering the children. When I pointed to the flashing hand you started hurling abuse and headed back through the crosswalk, kids in tow, after you’d gotten to the other side. Their mother ought to be informed that they were being led about by someone whose behaviour endangers her children. Get some anger management help. Pronto. —A Driver and Pedestrian

There are no traffic rules on SGR. People just meander around like a sheep farm with no fences.

I hate turning off Spring Garden onto a side street. There is no way to predict if someone will follow the signs and just pop into the road. With children too? Bad, bad decision.
Maybe the children were his/hers? Again, no common sense.
A good old English word “git”.
I drive in Montreal every day. Talk about walking against the lights.
