Recently, I heard that the current Pope stated that all non-Catholics are going to hell, that the only people who would go to heaven would be Catholics. Give me a fucking break.

First, let me say that I think all religion is bullshit – most of the ills, evils and wars have been started in the name of God. But the total nerve of this idiot in a pointy hat just infuriates me. The Catholic church is the most antiquated, corrupt, and hypocritical organization in the entire world, and far

fucking richer than it should be. This bunch of goddamn perverts have inflicted decades of pain and guilt on people, including myself. I hope to see every fucking Catholic church in Halifax closed and turned into whorehouses.

I am not against religion creating a sense of community with a common goal – however, I am against any religion that promotes hatred of women and anyone who differs from them.

If there is a Jesus, I’m sure he’d weep over what represents his interests on this planet.

The Pope Needs An Enema

  1. I agree with you 100% TPNAE, the absolute cause of misery in the world is religion. People who use a book to define and live their life by are IMO blinded to the rest of the world. If there is such thing as a god, why in the fuck is there endless people starving to death, killed by disease and wars. If he’s so fucking compassionate, why wouldn’t he stop this? It’s funny to me that in the time frame they say all this shit happened, people could walk on water, and split oceans apart……..and none since then? It’s all bullshit, and people eat this shit right up. If you asked me, preachers and evangelists are just praying on the weak, they’re no better than panhandlers. Read a few sentences from a book and wholla, give me some money. For the pope to say that is just ridiculous, and incites hatred even further between religious people. Unfortunately we all get sucked into their wars and quest for more property and wealth. I hate ORGANIZED religion. If a person wants to believe in something, that’s fine, but when you abide by the word that comes out of a book, there’s something wrong there.

  2. Just in addition, yes, I’m a fucking hypocrit in one way, I take advantage of the “christmas” season, but shit, they let me go on vacation. I consider it a break from the grind.

  3. What gauls me about the Papists is that there is no basis in the Bible for celibacy or. exclusion of women from the priesthood. And their value of the Virgin birth – isn’t someone who bears children more valuable than some dried up old nun who beats on school kids?Brides of Christ indeed. And let’s not forget about the Pope getting rid of Limbo (the supposed place where unbaptized babies go) – what’s with that? Did the clouds suddenly part one day and a big hand come down and say, “Ditch that Limbo shit’???The Catholic Church is all about abuse of power. I can remember driving thru Quebec and these huge fucking cathedals surrounded by shacks. My grandmother spawned 12 kids because of her religion and felt trapped beyond belief. I also remember the nuns, those evil cunts in their penquin dresses and yardsticks teaching me, of all goddamn things, SEX EDUCATION!!! How fucking sick is that? This pope is simply delusional and a total asshole – oh, did I say, asshole? I forgot – an asshole is useful.

  4. Another good bitch! This is great!! I remember my high school boyfriend’s mother, a pentocostal who spoke ‘in tongues’ at church. She was the most wicked, cruel-mouthed and judgemental person I have ever met (for some strange reason, it’s always the hyper-religious who are the most closed-minded and judgemental. Go figure, huh!!), yet she thought of herself as a hero, ‘the lord’s right hand man’. When I was 16 years old, she told me over a friendly tea that my relative who committed suicide was destined to burn in hell for eternity since ‘committing the ultimate sin’. She was the very evil she preached about.

  5. Wow, NMH, how did you restrain yourself from punching that rancid self-righteous cow in the kisser? Let’s hope she crucified herself in a parking lot or something.People who are that devoted to a religious cause are mentally unstable to begin with. Add their devotion to saving the world through Christ Jesus and you have a foaming at the mouth nutjob. And what’s this ‘speaking in tongues’ all about? Is rolling around on the floor spouting gibberish the right way to gain access to Heaven? I don’t know about you but heaven sounds pretty fucking boring to me, all those harps and angels ‘winging it’ (despite the fact that the Bible mentions nothing about wings on angels – you can thank the Renaissance painters for that one). As far as hell goes, look no further than planet Earth and man’s inhumanity towards his brothers. It’s amazing what people want to believe. Take Peter Popoff (don’t ya love the name??) – the television evangelist – he was exposed in the States for using an earpiece that fed him info about people who were about to be ‘cured’ at his service (each audience member had to fill out an info card before being seating) over ten years ago and the creep is still in business, depending on the placebo effect of his gullible followers. Are people really that stupid and desperate? You betcha, ba-bee.

  6. You are so right Ellbee! And I’d have loved to punch her, or maybe better yet, stick a pitchfork through her chest. Watching her ‘speak in tongues’ (supposedly a ‘rare miracle of God’) was absolute hilarity! It was during some sort of ‘healing’ session at the church (I went twice to see what it was like) where this greeseball preacher in a shiny suit, black patent leather shoes, and slicked-back hair stood at the front of the church ‘healing’ members of the audience, all by grasping them by the forehead and throwing them backwards into the arms of some Ichabod Crane lookalike! My then-boyfriend’s mother, along with about 10 others, stood there with their arms raised up and eyes rolled back, making gurgling/ choking/grunting sounds. All I can say is that it was probably the most ridiculous, most disturbing, and most hilarious things I have ever witnessed!

  7. I wonder whatever happened to the ex-boyfriend? Did he follow Mama’s teachings or did he evenutally disown her? I know I wouldn’t want that crackpot around any of my kidlinks. What a bunch of mental defectives – if what you’ve described is ‘divine intervention’, they must be channelling Britney Spears binge-drinking. Or a Tazer.

  8. Ha ha!! That boyfriend of mine used to fight with his mother constantly, yet he quickly revealed himself to be a carbon copy of her! Eventually he also lost all of the nice, open-minded friends he had after he literally stuck his waggling finger in their faces one day to lecture about their occassional experimentation with weed!

  9. Bahawhawhaw!!! He’d love me – I’ve been a devoted (and responsible) tooter for over 30 years – I’d love to meet this God Boy and laugh at that wagging digit – before I told him to shove it up his bunghole and rotate on his elbow.Didn’t J.C. say something about ‘Don’t judge lest you be judged’? Religion is really for the feeble minded and your amusing (and delightfully horrifying) tale underscores that in spades. Thanks for sharing!

  10. Thanks Ellbee! I agree with you 100%!Here’s something funny to leave off with: This same waggling finger even tried to waggle in my mother’s face once, when she told him that Liberace was a better piano player than his mother, who taught kids after school. Hilarious!!

  11. Heh-heh-heh – betcha Liberace was better dressed, too. I had a buddy of mine marry one of those Holy Moly Rollers a few years back and I haven’t seen him since – maybe I should start looking for a ring of flames somewhere near the Liquor Dome.Speaking of Christiandumb, my ex-step-daughter didn’t talk to her father for years because he refused to be saved by Lord Jeeze-Ass H. and his Baptist buddies – how’s that for a stellar example of Christianity???
