To the lovely lady with her feet up who smiled at everyone as they entered the bus, after me came a well worn, but loving mother of three, stroller and bags in tow, on a sticky hot August afternoon. While the older two were happy to find adventures at the back of the bus, the little one was not so easily assuaged. It was not until your offering of bubbles gently blown her way did her cries turn to an awed and joyful peace. You kept the bubbles abundant for the duration of the ride, holding the child transfixed, and then offered the bottle as a gift when you had to get off! Smiling mother, smiling baby—you are a champion to mothers and a boon to the #7 bus line. Many thanks. —Grown Man Who Also Loved Bubbles
