Why do you steal bicycles only to leave them on the bus bike rack? They keep pilling up at Metro Transit. I assume they are stolen because anyone forgetting their expensive bikes on the bus would soon remember and the bikes would not be at MT for more than a day. These bikes have been there for awhile. I suggest anyone who has had their bikes stolen to give MT’s lost and found a call and describe your ride. —Hope your bike is there

I’ll call but i don’t think my motorcycle will be there
Ha, so the buses are bicycle theives! I knew it …. the people carry eats bikes!
When you “describe your ride” don’t forget to include the wonderful scenery you passed by.
A pleasure as always.

As an aside, what year is that $20 bill from Nova Scotia, MM?

Don’t forget to read my knowledgeable commentary attached to my avatar. Did you know that, among other things, I collect historically interesting paper money in general? After I have finished showing my Nova Scotia material I might, just might, begin to show that as well. I feel that one’s avatars should be of some interest to the intelligent viewer which, of course, excludes the vast majority on this site.
You see Klyde, in addition to great cognitive depth, academic attainment and a track record of distinguished scholarly publication, I have a wide range of pursuits having an intellectual dimension, one of which is the aforesaid collecting of historically interesting paper money.
A pleasure as always.

Klyde… please don’t poke the troll…
once he starts rambling his usual holier-than-thou bullshit, he never stops.
I await his usual retort I, as per usual, will not read, further droning on and on and thus proving my point.
Point taken zZzed…. MM, I am interested in collectables as well, but I don’t have paper money, I have coins…I have 4 1904 fifty cent pieces that are made from pewter, very soft metal…Charlton Book on coins values those in their condition at $1400 each. If I could rummage through my stuff I’ll take a picture and put as my avatar. I do like your $20 bill. I also have a King George 1935 or 36, not sure, Canadian silver Dollar in excellent shape. Ivan may be interested in Deutsch Mark Bonds I have, I believe dated 1917. Interesting to look at but not worth the paper it was printed on, Hitler devalued the economy so bad at that time. All this I inherited from my Grandfather.

Thanks for the reply. I also collect coins but not from Canada after Confederation, i.e., 1867. My last avatar featured a Province of Nova Scotia halfpenny token with the portrait of William IV (1830-1837) dating from 1832. Maybe you missed it.
I basically have two coin collections, the first consisting of about 35 coins collected during my early teen age years from the Georgian Antique Shop in Halifax – corner of Barrington and Spring Garden – which no longer exists. It did not have any particular theme but was the product of my romantic love of history. My avatar of William IV was from that collection.
My second collection is themed on English hammered silver – i.e., coins that were hammered and did not have the lines around the edge – dating from 1685 back to 1144. They, about 25 coins, are all arranged in their little plastic envelopes on my mantle piece with their complete provenance – their Seaby’s (“Coins of England”) number, condition, price asked and paid, and so on. These were bought at coin shows in Montreal. I have posted a number of these on my Facebook page but never on Bitch.
Anyway, nice talking.
A pleasure as always.
