How come the best of guide has very little Dartmouth stores in it? Don’t Dartmouth residents read The Coast?

  1. This is, I think, the 10,231st time I’ve explained this, but here I go again: The Best of Halifax is a READERS POLL. We here at The Coast have no input whatsoever into what gets picked, what people like or don’t like or where the businesses happen to be located.

    But fwiw, we’re making some efforts to better highlight some things in Dartmouth. Stay tuned.

    and why aren’t there many Dartmouth places in it?
    and why didn’t ‘insertFavoritePlaceHere’ even make the top 3?
    and what were you thinking when you name that place the “insertCategoryHere”?

    I mean really… c’mon.
    I’m almost thinking you should start rigging it. For all the complaints you get, it may actually reduce the number of twats who bitch and moan ‘their’ place didn’t win, yet I’m sure these people likely didn’t even bother to vote.
