To the mindless couple, who clearly lacked any common sense, and let their two large dogs (a golden retriever and a white terrier mix) roam the Common off-leash: LEARN HOW TO BE IN CONTROL OF YOUR PETS IF YOU’RE GOING TO WALK THEM OFF-LEASH IN A PUBLIC SPACE!!!!!!! And don’t just tell me “We do it anyways,” when I point out that you are not supposed to walk dogs off-leash in the city. Instead, apologize for your dogs CHARGING AT MINE AND LETTING THEM SNAP AT EACH OTHER. And it’s not the animals fault; it’s their mindless humans’ lack of common sense. SCREW YOUR HEAD ON! —Angry Pitbull Owner

Hahaha! Angry pit bull owner… hahaha!
A giant white terrier mix. Visions of a St. Bernard, a Fox Terrier and a bar stool immediately came to mind.
I agree with this bitch. While I adore dogs, I had a horrific experience years ago with a leash-free St. Bernard who knocked me off my feet in a local park and started aggressively ripping the sleeve of my new jacket – the owner finally hauled the dog away by the collar then pissed off in a flash without even asking how I was. I fear big unfamiliar dogs off the leash to this day. No amount of reassurances from the owner will change that.
^^^ Similar thing happened to me with a couple of large dogs off leash in an on-leash park. I thought I was going to be torn apart. The greasy owners showed up and literally didn’t say a word. They gathered up their dogs and scurried off like rats.
Here’s a list of off-leash parks for folks looking to let their favourite canine cannons loose:

Yuppies and their puppies!!
I’ve been bitten, I’ve had dogs jump on me and I’ve had a-holes allow their off leash dogs to run right up to me, even with me crying they take their time leading them away, sometimes I have to plead with them. I swore after the last time if an off leash dog approaches me (and it is NOT an off leash area) I will scream bloody murder until these idiots get the hint as I record the whole thing on my phone. I don’t know you or your dog and I don’t care to!
Not leashing your dog shows great stupidity, if someone’s dog ever bit my wife or myself there would be some very teary eyed ex dog owners. At least these idiots are opting for dogs over having children, now that would really be scary.
No need for them to apologize for their dogs, as the dogs are just being dogs and have not been shown how to put on their own leashes. And sadly they are owned by immature power trippers who can not properly control their animals but want to be the big shot who can do what they want when they want no matter what the law says. Basically they do not like other people and probably do not really like their dogs either. People like this should have their animals removed from their homes and not be allowed to own any other pets.
Those who get a rescue dog think long and deep about it and the cost. No not the cost of physically getting the dog but the cost of the first thing you are going to have to do with it. Take it to obedience classes or you will wind up with a dog that is very unpredictable.
I was bit by a dog on a leash before. It sucked.
A pit bull on a leash made a move at me once on a downtown sidewalk. His head hit my leg. It was clearly deliberate and I think he wanted to bite me. Luckily it was wearing a muzzle but it was still a bit upsetting. Made me wonder if it had done that before. I’m sure the beast made the young gal on the other end of the leash feel safe but she clearly had not bothered to train or socialize it
