I drop by the Ardmore from time to time for breakfast and I’m always happy to slide into a booth and be served by the pleasant people who work there.
The place feels real and unaffected by all the big box franchises that Americanize and homogenize the majority of our eateries.
It’s nice to be in a place where everyone isn’t wearing a uniform or chanting some company’s script.
You people rock!

Really OP, you should post this love as a review on our restaurant pages.
But it is technically also a love, is it not?
OP, don’t knock Americanization. Where would we be without it? We wouldn’t even have all the great and greasy foods we’ve come to enjoy like fried eggs, fried bacon, sausages, pancakes, eggs benedict, french fries, hashbrowns, deepfried this and deepfried that… mmm I’m getting hungry! Yes, I know most of these foods originated elsewhere, but we can thank the Americans for making them the way they are today, for better or worse. Besides, even the Ardmore is heavily based off the classic American diner.
