Halifax’s Turbine to entice celebrities at Cannes

This Thursday she’s taking some choice items from her boutique in Halifax, Turbine (1475 Lower Water Street), to lovely Cannes, for that little film fest they have there. The three featured items (the Upside-Down Dress, a reversible leather hobo bag, and the Day to Night #27 red mineral lipstick duo) are all being packaged together as a Cannes survival kit. Bishop’s Landing stays open late

This coming Friday, head on down to Bishop’s Landing (1475-77 Lower Water Street) to experience a shopping extravaganza. The retailers on and just off swanky square right on the harbour will be staying open until midnight, stores including Bishop’s Cellar, Del Sol, One Stop Wood Shop, Paul Stulac Smoke on the Water, Pearl City, Rum Runners Rum Cake Factory, Sugah!, Turbine Designs, Unicorn Ladies Fashions and Footwear and Urbanity Boutique Salon. There’s also fine meals to be had, at establishments such as Ristorante A Mano, Bish and the Hamachi Steak House.
