Holiday hours for the Victoria Day Long Weekend

Queen Victoria will be 191 on Monday—and she’s still lookin’ good. We’re all thrilled about it, for the day off work many of us will enjoy. May 24 will be a Statutory Holiday for the feds—lucky bastards—but it’s not statutory for the rest of us. That said, it’s a holiday for most, while tourist-related businesses and museums will be open. The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic (1675 Lower Water Street, 424-7490), for example, is open 9:30am to 5:30pm. Biscuit General Store (1661 Argyle Street, 425-5436) will help you look more stylin’ from 12 noon to 6pm, and the Atlantic News
