This does not relate directly to the Transit strike but does relate to Metro Transit. I think its about time that Metro Transit increase the frequency of its routes for route #66 and #72. Throughout most of the day, these routes run once an hour. This scheduling is fine for stay at home parents or those that don’t have jobs, most notably full time jobs. I work full time and live on Highfield Park Drive. I find that I walk most of the time instead of using the transit service (66 or 72) because I am able to walk to and from where I need to go more quickly than I were to travel using transit. For example, if I were to miss #66 bus, in the hour that I would wait for another bus to come, I am able to walk to Portland St from Highfield Park Drive. I am all for sustaining the environment through transit but not enough I am required to engage in a lengthy waiting game. Also, I will be purchasing a car as soon as possible because I don’t have hours to dedicate to transit ridership. Check facebook for my profile because I will most likely be creating a cause
