To the editor,
I think it’s lame that the Spring Garden library shuts down in the heat. For all the taxpayers’ late fees, copy fees or other revenue it collects, the library should at least be able to buy some window-mounted air-conditioners at a yard sale. Better yet, it could install central air conditioning. (Even better yet, it could tell the public exactly what long-term plan exists for demolishing the building before, during or after the construction of a new one.)
