The environmental store P’lovers has a big day coming up this week. Liz Crocker and Ann Caverzan opened the store in 1992, and to celebrate the 20-year anniversary, they are making changes.

“Our store will be moving to the Trillium Building, mostly because there’s more space and street frontage,” says Crocker. “Several other local businesses are opening there, so we are hoping to create a kind of community.” The new store’s doors are opening Saturday, May 12. Meanwhile, the Park Lane Mall location will remain open until the end of the month. Frugal, ecological people will have a field day at the in-store yard sale, where everything from P’lover products to furniture will be on sale for 50 percent off or better.

  1. SO great to see these local business women moving shop instead of closing up after 20 years. They supported green shopping long before it was cool, and I wish them many more years of retail success!
