
Remarks: Truly, you could not design a worse crosswalk: It’s heavily used by slow-moving people lugging groceries home from Sobey’s, but sits at the bottom of a hill motorists fly down; the paint is faded out of existence and the sign alerting motorists to the crossing is obscured by a tree. Reashor says the paint job might have to wait until after Queen Street is dug up for the Freshwater Brook enlargement project, but he’ll send someone to look at the tree today.
