What’s Wrong?: All the signs are still lit at a closed Gottingen Street nightclub.
Who’s Responsible?: Geof Ralph, Partners Global Corporate Real Estate, 444-3006
Remarks: Diamonds closed several years ago, so why are the signs still lit? Who would pay for such a waste? And don’t get us started on global warming. Geof Ralph speculates the lights are left on “just to attract people” and “to show it’s still a viable location.” Really? Signs showing long past show dates just scream viability to us, especially on the oft-maligned Gottingen Street. Maybe Partners Global should try some balloons. They’re a lot cheaper and way more fun. —Ken Thomson
