Very inaccessible crosswalk in front of the Cunard Centre.

Remarks: This crosswalk comes dead up against a full curb, meaning it is completely useless to those in wheelchairs. The Port is struggling on the shipping side of things and trying to shore up business on the retail and event side of their business, which is all well and good, but if they're going to become an attractive public destination, they'll have to be open to allthe public. Kenrick says a curb cut will be added during reconstruction scheduled "in the next little while."

Who's Responsible?: Natalie Kenrick, Port of Halifax, 426-8222.
