I’m a little tired of hearing about the Sunday shopping issue. I think the whole matter could be cleared up quite simply: instead of having another vote that requires people to cast “for” or “against” ballots, let’s have a referendum in which people are asked if they have ever bought something on a Sunday. A “yes” answer would count as a vote for Sunday shopping; a “no” answer against. We’d be shopping on Sundays in no time. End of debate; much time and money saved.
