On the way to work this morning, I noticed the tags on the Robie at Jubilee bus shelter still haven’t been cleaned off. That makes it 36 days since I alerted the city to the graffiti-covered piece of public property. For its part, the city promised to do the clean-up within three days of my report, so the city’s now failed by more than a MONTH. Awesome. This proves my suspicions that city hall doesn’t care about its petty graffiti cleaning regulations any more than the rest of us do. Graffiti artists, Metro is yours.

For a history of this situation, including why I think it’s fair to support graffiti by ratting on it, start with this post.

And stay tuned: I’ll go through an update of other graffiti snitches next.
