Remarks: Contrary to our shoddy reporting, it seems that the Connaught Pharmacy was operating as a pharmacy right up until the end of December 2006—the doors were kept locked because the pharmacy had been robbed on multiple occasions, but the owner would still fill prescriptions for familiar customers. Now, the pharma-countdown: Starting from the closing date (Dec. 31), the building has six months to re-open as a business before zoning laws take effect and the property becomes residential. Who knew? Not us.
