Darren Fisher has won election to the East Dartmouth council seat vacated by Andrew Younger.

Fisher’s victory, in a field of seven, was convincing: he received 1,994 votes, while the next closest challenger, Brian Warshick, who had previously held the seat, received just 856.

  1. …..and there I was predicting an easy victory for the NDP candidate Mr Brown.
    What happened ??
Time for me to eat crow.
I don’t live in the district but I know plenty of people who received the recorded message from Mr Fisher for the past week.

  2. Dartmouth just lost the chance at a great counsellor… Phil Brown would have done so much for Dartmouth, and not just for himself like Andrew Younger
