To the editor,
I had to comment on dear Bruce Wark’s thoughts on The Daily Scrooge, I mean The Daily News. It’s about time someone talked about what a horrible paper it’s become. One talks about the sinking of the Titantic, how about sinking of The Daily News? The stories are about as interesting as Mary Poppins turning into a porno nanny. I cancelled my subscription and if the Herald puts in any more goofy stories about 17- year-olds with children having a hard time with money, yeesh. Come on, if you are going do a story as terrible as The Daily News , report on some street people or the disabled who get only $569 a month to live on.
Thank god we still have great weekly papers like The Coast who have writers who know how to write an interesting story.
