Dear Lezlie Lowe,
I am ever so greatful that someone shares my exact thoughts upon the Dingle, Black Rock beach and other harbour points being opened back up to the general public for swimming (“Worth the risk?” Lowedown, Aug.14). When I was but the age of 12 I was kayaking at the Dingle and I spotted the most beautiful of fish from afar, so I thought I would sneak up on it. As I came closer my childhood slipped away a little for it was no fish, it was indeed a tampon. Now they are expecting me to swim in it? I say no dice.
