Absolute power corrupts absolutely (“Deal with the devil,” Reality Bites by Tim Bousquet, November 15). Darrell Dexter knows he can break all the laws the Liberals and Conservatives broke when they held power. The difference this time is Dexter looks more hypocritical doing such because he ran his platform on being different. He is not.

Dexter doesn’t look more hypocritical—he looks like he’s doing something different than previous governments in power. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results. I think some of our “rules” just strangle us sometimes. Surprisingly, it’s a little refreshing! —posted by ladybug2
