To the editor,
In your March 2 issue you carried an article on plagiarism titled “Unoriginal sin.” The general tone of the article was a condemnation of plagiarism and the efforts by the universities to stop cheating. You also mention measures by a newspaper against a reporter who took stories from the internet.
A few pages later in The Coast was a feature by Jane Kansas. Knowing her journalistic history I would have to agree, that “They believe that honesty and integrity are not as important as they used to be and sometimes dishonesty gets you ahead.”
