To the editor,
I just wanted to send my support for Coast editor Kyle Shaw’s statement (“What is Halifax?” Dec. 13) that the comments from the crowd at the recent Halifax by Design public session “were, for the most part, completely fucking annoying.” This planning initiative gives Halifax a chance to make something of itself. It baffles me why people are so motivated to invent problems with it, many of which are explicitly addressed in the plan itself. Do people believe Halifax doesn’t deserve better?
