The New Democratic Party saw Elizabeth May selling Kool-Aid — at her cute stand made from 90 percent post-consumer recycled cardboard — but decided not to drink any. So unlike the Liberals, the NDP will run a candidate in Central Nova against Green leader May and Conservative lunk hunk Peter MacKay. Louise Lorefice, a mom (eight kids) and teacher (history, ret’d), carries the NDP colours and makes it a three-way race. Which it will be until the Marxist-Leninists, Marijuana, Progressive Canadian, Christian Heritage and/or other parties sign on too.
