Beloved New York media website Gawker has been running this feature for awhile called “Great Moments in Journalism,” wherein it encourages readers to submit the worst leads they’ve read all week.
At the end of the week, Gawker sticks the top 5 in a poll and then you can vote on them.
Today’s entry comes from no other than Mr.Kids Today, Peter Duffy, who’s been cranking up the Chronicle-Herald for longer than most of us have been alive, writing consistently mildly racist, homophobic and sexist columns about folksy crap.
