Remarks: How many of these malevolent poles are there? Are there triplets? Quintuplets? Octuplets? Clearly, we’re in over our waist. We called the HRM call centre, where a receptionist dutifully took down our problem and assigned it a service number (#2369848). Last time, it only took a few days for our pole complaint to be addressed. Now we get to see if the city moves just as quickly with a holiday hangover.
Who’s Responsible?: Municipal public works, by way of the HRM call centre. 490-4000.

Just thought I would let the readers and the people at The Coast know, that this one is acutally a “down guy anchor”. It would be the responsibility of Aliant or NS Power (depending which on of the two it belongs to) and not the city. However, I am sure the city would pass on that information to either Aliant or NS Power after one of their crew realize what it is they are looking at.
