Remarks: In June, the department claimed it was leading by example with ideas such as motion sensors in boardrooms. Sooo, WTF? Janet McNeil, an Enviro rep who works in the building, explains, “We’re all pretty diligent… my light switch has a big sticker that says, ‘Turn me off.’” Still, she says, cleaning staff come in at 5:30pm, which could explain the delayed switch-off, as could a commissionaire walkabout at 11pm. “But if you ever come in on the weekends, it’s pitch black.” Again, that’s Bloghorn.
