For some reason, a backstop and some lighting have been removed from the Halifax Common—and in their place, there’s this giant stage. How odd.

Remarks: So, these rock and roll hooligans think they can just waltz into town and interrupt our Saturday afternoon softball sojourn? We were supposed to play a league game this weekend, jerks. To quote your “hit song” (which, frankly, we’d never heard of before): “I don’t find this very satisfying.” Or however it goes. Jennifer Beck with the city’s communications department tells us everything should be back to normal on the Common by the 26th, “give or take a day or two.” It’d better be, dammit—I’m pitching that week.
