Remarks: Look on the bright side, kids: You’ve lost a swing set, but you’ve gained a chin-up bar! Darren Deion, a PW employee, tells us that quite a few municipal swing sets are currently out of commission—and that there’s a perfectly good explanation. “A lot of these sites are going to be lacking their swings for a while,” says Deion. “They’re being fitted with ‘S-hooks,’ which are safer. They meet CSA standards.” Deion says disappointed under-duckers should expect the swings to return in “about a week or so.”
