Remarks: Who doesn’t crave a nice statue from time to time? We all do. The helpful gang at the Halifax North Branch Library told us the entire application process had to be started again, as nobody met the criteria from the first one. People, please. There are application forms available from the library info desk, and anyone with artistic tendencies should pick one up and read the damn thing, for goodness sake. For more info, attend the meeting on November 17, at 10:30am, at the North Branch Library. And consider a life-size statue of David Bowie (circa Aladdin Sane) gracing the concrete expanse. Come on! That’s a fine idea!
