I miss you. Please don’t stay away. I’m a big person I can handle being hurt. You are worth the risk. —Anon

  1. I thought about commenting on this post, but I wasn’t sure if this was Anon from “Too Low for Zero”, or Anon’s person, even though it was signed ‘Anon’……hive minds, go figure…..;P

  2. Anon, if you wote ‘Too Low for Zero’ as well as this love, you really need to sit down and talk with your person……if they are still in your life they will probably at least listen to you, they may even welcome the opportunity to finally talk with you–your waffling (see Zed for Mystery Men link, and btw, Carmine the Bowler and his daughter are my faves from that flick–unafraid to speak and never missed their mark)…….anyway OP, back to your waffling: it makes me think you have avoided your person and have probably put up a few thinly veiled barriers that, I would bet, are confusing to say the least, if not completely off-putting. Relationships of any kind can be tough…sounds like you have a lot of work to do, maybe you should start by asking yourself what it is to truly be a friend to someone–at least, that sounds like a good starting point for you, my waffling poster:)

  3. SheSang good advice. I think there’s more to they’re relationship,if there is one.

When I read that one of the definitions for “Anon” is “hive minds”, I thought of someone with mental illness.

  4. @Zed:…….bahahahahahahahahahahaha……..and ya know i won’t be able to look at ginger kitties without thinking of you now;D

  5. Thanks for the gifts, fyi.
    very much appreciated.
I was reading last night… such a rarity to read for pleasure.

  6. Awesome Zedman, it was my pleasure!! Knew you’d dig the issue—will keep my eyes open for you when i am rummaging around in Quantum Frontier and Strange Adventures;P

  7. that’s excellent…
notice how they still cater to geeks even though surfer chicks go to those places too.
Did you see that idiocy in the paper about the oven?
I mean really… I’ve seen old men in dresses all the time. Just hop on people of walmart.
Should they be forced to market them in the same way?
Grampy Gary in a nightgown… now there’s a section of the sears catalog I’ll be skipping.

  8. :)yes Zed, and that’s what i LOVE about them–they know that surfer chicks are geeks at heart, anyone crazy enough to do the stuff we do would HAVE to be…..someday, we shall take over the world–muhahahahahahaha….and we shall start by making surfing, music, and comics->graphic arts the three major subjects kids learn from grade primary on…..way more fun than the current curriculum, and excellent prep for the study of physics later on;)

…but, ‘oven’ stuff–ya lost me dude….that being said, though, i wouldn’t be bothered by grampy nighties any more than i am by granny pyjamas, which is ‘not at all’….a ‘grampy nightie’ section would probably make me check out the sears catalogue more (as opposed to never)–nice to see an old dusty relic switch itself up;)

…glad you’re enjoying the read….got a sweet little HM collection….hope the day is being nice to you man:)

  9. Thanks Ivan–got it at the ROM when I went to the dino exhibit!! And so true about them being the original Predator drone—it’s like biology and technology seem to be endpoints (quarks??) of the same string……btw, that was an uber-fun brunch!!
